Note: A large gender disparity exists in smokeless tobacco use. Consistently 3% or less of adult women in Wyoming report using smokeless tobacco; the use rates by males are much higher. Given this disparity, the SEOW chose to prioritize male smokeless tobacco use for continued surveillance. The results are presented as multi-year averages to make them less volatile to year-to-year changes and to account for counties with smaller populations.
